CAPABILITIES
West Houston Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center offers in-house rehabilitation services. Instead of having different therapists work with you during your stay, our in-house therapy program allows for a more personal relationship between patient and therapist. You will work closely with a consistent selected few therapists, letting them get to know you and cater your treatment plan to meet your needs.

WOUND CARE AND MANAGEMENT
Skilled wound care certified nurses and clinicians work to minimize the incidence of pressure ulcers and other skin conditions and to ensure optimal wound healing of various types of wounds including:
• Pressure Ulcers
• Diabetic Ulcers
• Venous Stasis
• Non-healing Wounds from: diabetes, surgery, poor circulation, pressure, bad veins, radiation, infection, burns, trauma, autoimmune disorder.

IV THERAPY
Nursing teams confidently oversee all types of venous access including both PICC and central lines are ready to manage all intravenous medication and fluid requirements.

INTRAVENOUS (IV) THERAPY
We provide IV therapy to quickly administer fluids and medications directly into the
bloodstream. This allows us to hydrate more effectively and efficiently. Administering medications
straight
into the blood stream allows the body to absorb 100% of the medication(s).
TRACHEOSTOMY MANAGEMENT
Encompasses maintaining a patents airway with practices to ensure prevention of
infection. This is a multidisciplinary approach with the goal to ween and decannulate the patient as
quick
as possible.
CPAP/BIPAP
Encompasses maintaining a patents airway with practices to ensure prevention of
infection. This is a multidisciplinary approach with the goal to ween and decannulate the patient as
quick
as possible.
MEDICATION MANAGEMENT
Our individualized interdisciplinary treatment system helps ensure our patients are
receiving optimal beneficial results for the prescribed medications that they may be taking.
